Traffic Regulation Order Proposals

This is where we publish details of all proposed Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs). Under each amendment heading, you can find a 'Statement of Reasons' which details the reasons for the proposed restriction amendment. This document will contain all affected locations within the proposal.

We also provide a copy of the written proposed TRO if necessary and a map of each location, which in most areas will represent the actual TRO tile should the proposed restriction be implemented.

Should you wish to object or comment in favour of a particular proposal, the details of how to do this are detailed at the bottom of the 'Notice of Intention' document. Please note that in the case of Temporary TROs, there is no requirement for consultation.

Covid-19 and TRO proposals

Some of the council offices mentioned in the Notices of Intention are no longer open to members of the public to view the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) proposal documents because of the current lockdown.

All TRO proposal documents (Notice of Intention, Draft Order, Statement of Reasons, and maps) can be viewed above, or on our 'TraffWeb' page (see below under 'Current Traffic Regulation Orders' for more details).

If you need to view a hard copy of these documents please call 07703 796401 or 07515 999663 to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents quoting the reference number. Documents can be made available for inspection between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, or 8.30am and 5pm on Fridays at the following office:
